My path to becoming a plastic surgeon started as a child growing up as one of two sons that frequently accompanied my father to hospitals on weekends to round on patients.
I knew from an early age that I would one day become a physician. After finishing medical school I completed my General Surgery Residency training in various hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, working alongside some of the leading cancer surgeons in the country. Despite caring for a full range of patients in every capacity from Trauma to Intensive Care to outpatient surgeries, it was always the cases with the Plastic Surgeons I trained with that got me the most excited.

Pearce Plastic Surgery is a specialist medical practice in Tampa, Florida, led by a physician whose commitment to patient care has roots in early exposure to hospital life and clinical responsibility. Growing up as one of two sons, the surgeon frequently accompanied his father on weekend hospital rounds, developing a lifelong interest in medicine. That early drive continued through medical school, followed by General Surgery Residency training across hospitals in New Jersey and New York City, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked alongside leading cancer surgeons and cared for a broad range of patients—from trauma and intensive care to outpatient surgical settings. While the training covered every capacity of surgical care, his strongest motivation emerged from the plastic surgery cases and mentorship during residency.
